Description & Inspiration:
I was inspired by super nature, studying cell biology and watching the Discovery Channel. Population is a stop frame, slow motion movie in clay: the series shows a kind of biomorphic progression. Population is a series of four sculptures, which would ideally be shown together, but can be shown separately.
Materials, Size & Date:
Hand built Earthenware, body stains.
Each sculpture is approx. 60cm long, 45cm wide, 45cm high. Made 1998.
