Thank you for your interest in the Best Information Transmission (BIT) Lab! Before reaching out to schedule an in-person or online meeting, please complete the following steps. You may also read this ★Q&A★ for further information. Note that our group is not ready to take any international students yet. Sorry!
Step 1: Ask yourself if you have passion and patience to solve interesting research problems, which are essentials to stay well in our LAB;
Step 2: Check my Research Areas and Publications, and read some of my papers to get an idea about the direction and style of my research;
Step 3: Visit About Me, Communication Projects Webpage, and Teaching Feedback to get to know my personality;
Step 4: Ask yourself why you want to join BIT Lab and what you wish to learn from BIT Lab.
Step 5: Do this Personality Test
Note that programming skill is a must in our group, and C Programming is highly preferred.

信件撰寫補充:許多學生在寫信給老師時,常常帶著一種懇求的語氣:「請錄取我,我真的很努力,也非常渴望加入你們的實驗室。」但在 BIT Lab,我們並不以同情作為錄取的標準。真正具有說服力的申請信應該像是一份合作提案(proposition),語氣應當是:「這是我目前累積的能力與成長歷程,這是我未來想前進的方向,而貴實驗室正具備我所需要的資源。」同時,也應該展現出:「如果我有機會加入,我將能為實驗室帶來哪些具體的價值。」 畢竟收學生從來不是單方面的請求,而是一個雙向選擇、彼此成就的過程。
