If you have a name that is uncommon, you know the struggle of getting people to pronounce, let alone spell it correctly. One day I was on a call with customer service for a company - the representative had a hard time understanding me, and I had a hard time understanding him. We kept missing each other. He asked what my last name was repeatedly after consistently mispronouncing it. Finally, I said "It's Carew; it's care with a w!" After ending the call, I thought about that just a bit more.
