Our work is influenced by video recordings from the court case involving Little Sister’s Book and Art Emporium versus the Ministry of Justice. Agents from Canadian Border Services were blocking the entry of items they considered "indecent," such as gay literature destined for Little Sister’s. The bookstore took legal action to protect their equal entitlement to freedom of speech. We also discovered written records of the lawsuit, which include the identities of the judges, attorneys, and individuals who spoke during the proceedings.
