Jefferson BANDS 

The 10th annual Band on the Run 5K will be held on Saturday, July 19!  Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to participate in this fun, family-friendly community event!  The course will take you through the grounds of Lafayette Jefferson High School and Tecumseh Jr. High School in Lafayette, IN. NEW IN 2025: The first 50 registrants will receive a finisher medal!

Date:  Saturday, July 19, 2025

Race Start Time:  8:00 a.m.

Start & Finish Location:  Lafayette Jefferson High School marching band practice field (corner of 18th & Hiatt).  Parking is available in the Tecumseh Jr. High lot.

Timing & Results:  The race will be chip timed using disposable bib chip technology by The Franklin Finish, LLC.  Results posted following the event at www.franklinfinish.com .

Cost:

• $25.00 (plus processing fee) through July 5th (T-shirt included)

• $30.00 (plus processing fee) on/after July 6th

• Children 10 and under are free

• Sponsor a band student and $5.00 of your registration will be donated into the named student's band account.

Packet Pick Up & In-Person Registration:

• Saturday, April 19th from 6:30-7:45am (pre-race) at Jefferson High School band practice field

Other Information:

• Variable terrain (asphalt & grass)

• Strollers allowed

• No Pets

Proceeds will be used by the Jefferson Band Boosters to support the needs of the band programs in the Lafayette School Corporation. 

Donation options available on the registration site for donations to the band boosters or directly to a current band student's account.  Anyone can make a donation whether registering for the event or not!
