Hey it's me GW (like I said) and so of course I am going to be giving a series of lectures very soon at 'Ole Miss' about U.S. slavery. But of course I'll need the $100M right up front just to be sure. I have a lot of expenses. Think Dupont Circle in the fall of '94.
And I am going to explain it in the context of Transmigration Theory, ie. religious truth in general. And so why therefore the slavery issue should not 'haunt or otherwise inhibit' even those people who are alive today and who can also prove - let's say - that every one of their ancestors who were young adults back in the 1850's (32 ancestors on average for each of us) suffered such bondage.

Because they, the descendants alive today, were all alive back then too - but in a previous and completely different human incarnation. And for all they know it was on the other side of the world. And for all they know they were real creeps themselves, of which there are a million different kinds no matter where you go as you know!

And remember, as a general rule you cannot simply claim that you were once one of the down trodden because as a general rule mere mortal humans (ie. souls that still haven't achieved Divine Enlightenment like the three wise men or my divine assistants obviously have) who are alive right now and right in the middle of one of their consecutive finite human lifetimes CANNOT remember who they've been before in previous lifetimes. Or where. Or how they eventually died. Or whether their good deeds outweighed their bad ones etc. And this is all by design.
All they know for sure is that they lived somewhere on earth and that they were of the same sex as now because that stays the same throughout and is fixed in place throughout your soul's evolution based on whatever sex your first human incarnation was - a decision that God and God alone makes.
And so those are just the rules of the game - you're NOT supposed to remember. And for three very good reasons!

Case in point - I too have 32 great great great grandparents who back in the late 1850's were, on average, in their twenties. Half of them were Italians still back in the 'old' country (nice'a ooch but they wouldn't start coming over here in serious numbers until after this 1878 Milan, Italy event and the real reason for this sudden exodus is quite interesting) and the other half were Irish immigrants already living over here (the all time natural sub-tier parasitic wannabe ethnic group 'hey I want that - that's mine now!' - and btw in my current lifetime there isn't anything that these natural enemies of real religious stuff haven't tried!)
And they were all dirt poor peasants. You know, scravengers! At least I think they were, but I have no proof. So if somebody would please research the issue I'd be much obliged.

The point is - I was alive back in the 1850's too but in a completely different previous incarnation. And so whatever sins my great great great grand parents committed back then are not now mine to bear. Nor are their good deeds to my credit. And similarly whatever sufferings or exploitations that they may have endured (back in the early 1860's I may have been responsible for a lot of them!) I cannot now claim that those 'sufferings' are in any way responsible for my current 'lot' in life. In any way.

Now enlightened progressive compassionate intellectual ivory tower liberals (as well as 'ordained' Catholic clergy and college professors with PhD's in psychology etc etc etc) are not going to like this 'Transmigration' analysis because -
It's beyond the scope of their own understanding of truth. Which makes them all feel dumb. And unnecessary. They instead would like to continue to 'revise' historical truth at their intellectual leisure. And concoct 'Critical Race Theory.' And get paid for it.
The fact that souls DO NOT go back and forth between genders as they journey thru their consecutive human lifetimes is going to drive 'liberated progressives' into a tizzy. They might even start calling God homophobic. Heck they might even have him 'cancelled'!
