Another explosion. Just outside the back right corner this time. Just as close. Just as loud. My ears were ringing.
“What were the chances ..." I was now thinking. I gave up on reading now and just waited to see what would happen next. Twenty seconds more elapsed and then ...
BANG!
Another ear splitting … Back left corner this time. But just as close. And just as loud! It rattled everything. My chair included.
“Nothing random about this” I surmised. “Something's up and how. If there's one more ...”
Twenty seconds later …
BANG!
Front left. Now all four corners had been slammed!
THIS ONE PUT THE LIVING FEAR OF GOD ...
I just sat there frozen. And impressed! I had figured it out.
THESE LIGHTNING STRIKES WERE HEAVEN SENT !!!
And their aim wasn't off; they were meant to 'just miss' on purpose.
THEY WERE JUST A REMINDER.
