このたび下記の要領にて、2026年度定例研究会を開催いたします。本研究会が研究交流と親睦の一層の深化の場となりますよう、皆さまのご参加を心よりお待ち申し上げます。
▪ 日時：2026年6月13日（土）14時開始、17時30分終了予定（13時40分開場）
▪ 会場：青山学院大学・青山キャンパス
▪ 開催方法：本研究会は対面開催のみです。事前の参加申込が必要です。
本会会員の方は、お送りしたメイルに記載されている申込フォームよりお申し込みください。
非会員の方は、 journal.jascs〔at〕gmail.com（〔at〕 = @）へご連絡ください。
▪ 会場での印刷資料の配布は行いません。報告資料は、例会の1週間前を目途に、参加者の皆さまへダウンロード先URLをお知らせします。

■ Notice of the 2026 Annual Research Meeting
We are pleased to announce that the Association will hold its Annual Research Meeting as outlined below.
We sincerely look forward to your participation, hoping this year’s conference will further promote scholarly exchange and collegial friendship among members.
▪Date & Time: Saturday, June 13, 2026, 14:00–17:30 (Doors open at 13:40)
▪Venue: Aoyama Gakuin University, Aoyama Campus.
▪Format: This meeting will be held in person only. Advance registration is required.
Members are requested to complete registration using the registration form provided in the email sent to you.
For non-members, please contact us at journal.jascs〔at〕gmail.com (replace 〔at〕 with @).
▪Printed materials will not be distributed at the venue. Presentation materials will be made available via a download URL, which will be sent to participants approximately one week before the meeting.
▪Advance registration is also required to attend the reception. Details of the reception will be provided at the venue on the day of the event.

戦後内戦期、中国江南地域における国民党政府の統治と社会団体――江蘇省丹陽県の事例を中心に――
* オンラインによる報告
日中戦争後・国共内戦期における中国江南地域の国民党政府の統治に関する先行研究は、江蘇省の土地行政再建、呉県・常熟県・呉江県における田賦実物徴収に伴う小作料徴収、上海市における徴兵制などを対象とした研究を通じて、一定の成果が蓄積されてきた。しかし、国家権力と地方社会の間で活動した各種社会団体の実態を精査し、地域社会の構造から国民党政府の統治を分析する研究は多くない状況である。
本研究は、中国江南地域に位置する江蘇省丹陽県の事例を中心的に取り上げる。まず、戦後内戦期の丹陽県における経済・社会状況を整理し、現地で活動した宗族組織や宗教結社などの社会団体の特徴を精査する。次に、同時期における国民党丹陽県政府の施政や問題を分析し、同政権の地方統治の実情を把握する。最後に、共産党勢力の活動、末端行政人員が直面した圧力、現地の社会団体の動向に検討を加え、国民党政府の地方統治が抱える限界を解明する。

民族科学と空間分類――「客」をめぐる民族誌記述の変遷（仮）
客家の起原については、中原起源説、土着起源説をはじめとする豊富な研究蓄積がある。特に21世紀に入ってからは飯島典子や華南学派などによる構築主義的なアプローチが台頭し、清末・民国期の社会的状況のもとで、客家という名づけ（概念）や範疇がいかに登場し、普及したかを論じる研究が注目を集めるようになった。本発表は、その新たな動向を踏襲しつつも、歴史人類学のアプローチから再検討することを目的とする。
特に本発表が着目するのは、キリスト教宣教師が描いた「民族誌」の再分析とその社会的影響の力学についてである。
従来の研究では、「客」が客家へと移行してきた経緯がたびたび指摘されてきたが、その移行は単なる名称の問題に限られない。客家という民族言説が登場したことによって、潮州府・恵州府の「客」やその他の異なる言語・習俗をもつ人々が１つの民族カテゴリーとして収斂されていくようになった。それは1924年の頼際煕『崇正同人系譜』や1933年の羅香林『客家研究導論』にも反映されるが、実はこの時点の客家描写は現在のそれと同じではない。発表者が粤東中心主義と呼ぶ客家の生成のあり方について探求していきたい。

第二次世界大戦下で皇民化された台湾人形劇
第二次世界大戦下の台湾における皇民化運動と娯楽の関係については戯曲や映画の分野ではある程度研究の蓄積があるものの、伝統芸能である人形劇（腕人形を使用する布袋劇）との関係はあまり注目されなかった。日本植民地時代の人形劇に関する資料には限りが有るが、現存する資料（博物館展示などを含む）から、人形劇はどのように皇民化政策の一端に組入れられていったのかを考察する。

The Journal of South China Studies is now accepting submissions for Issue No. 12 (scheduled for publication in December 2026). We welcome a wide range of contributions, including Articles, Notes, Book Reviews, Historical Source Introductions, Field Reports / Personal Experiences.
The submission deadline for this issue (No. 12) is June 30, 2026.
