ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I have had a passion for teaching others and a love of math for as long as I can remember. My professional background is in sales & marketing, but my passion has always been sharing what I've learned to help others. After taking time off to raise my two boys, I found my way into their classrooms as a volunteer and immediately felt at home. I'm now on my way towards a classroom of my own. I love making connections with students and have so much fun teaching math!
I live in San Anselmo with my husband and our two sons (15 & 13 years old). I enjoy time with my family skiing, hiking, and cheering on my boys from the bleachers. I also love my alone time! Reading, baking, and journaling are my favorite solo activities. And, of course, walks with that furry friend you see to the left! I've enjoyed exploring my passions over the years and I love helping students discover their own passions!
I'm a University of Michigan alum cheerleader! Michigan football's 1997 National Championship and studying at U of M's Business School with the "Leaders and Best" were highlights of my undergraduate experience. Playful energy and high expectations are at the core of who I am and I bring those qualities to my classroom.
I am passionate about practicing mindfulness. Tuning in to feelings and challenging limiting beliefs are key components to how I bring happiness to myself and others. Being mindful in the classroom allows me to make authentic connections with my students and their families.
