From release 5.3 we made the move to the hierarchy of Association -> Clubs -> Teams -> Playing Rosters. Pretty much all your team and player admin can be done by drilling down though these levels.
You need at least one association and at this is where you determine all the playing levels that are supported. Levels are usually age related and we add a gender as well.
Once you have an association you can add clubs. Clubs just hold name and logo information so you don't have to repeat it for each team.
For each club you can have multiple teams. This is where the playing levels kick in. It has to be one of the playing levels you added for the association. You also have the option of adding a suffix so that you can have multiple teams playing at the same level - A, B etc.
Now we are ready to add players you can add new players or assign existing players.
The migration tool for the old structures is still available and we will help you do this if you email us on the email at the foot of this page. We will need you to give us admin access to your data (see Sharing Stats for more information).
Maintain your match fixtures here. You can add a team as part of adding a match. if you delete a match you will lose the link to any saved stats. However the match details are snapshot when you save a stat so the match info will continue to show on the player’s data. Note though that if you update or delete the match details after recording stats the players data will still contain the match information at the time the stat was saved.
You should have been able to add and assign tall your players to squads using Associations, Clubs, Teams & Rosters. So this section is just for core details (name, avatar and any personal details you hold) or to add new players not ready to be assigned to a team. Note if you delete a player you lose their stats so go careful! This is also where you can set targets for your players to achieve. Targets are date range bound and have a lower and upper target value range.
This is where you can create and manage competitions. It includes match scheduling and results services. See Competitions for further informtion
You have the choice of two levels for recording stats. For example you may not want to record shot positions. I use one level for Jack's team and a reduced level for the opponents. You can then apply the level when you set up teams. You can also cutomise it at the start of recording a match.
So sport is all about rules and the rules affect the recording of stats. Our rulesets cover things like the number and length of periods, fouls etc. There are several rule sets ready for use and you can add 5 more customised ones.
Allows you to pick your preferred ruleset that will be used when you record matches. Adjustments can be made at the match level before you start recording.
This makes doing stats analysis easier. Set up your season dates here and you don't have to keep entering them when doing analysis.
JacksStats uses caches on user devices to increase the speed and reduce the cost of stats analysis. Sometimes a cache can get out of synch. This option allows you to rebuild the caches for players and teams.
