Offline Working

The Vertu Stadium in Newcastle is a nightmare for WiFi and I imagine this could be the case in other metal stadiums. 

The app caches information (holds it on your device) to enable it to work offline and then update the central database once network access is restored. 

The problem is that in areas of poor or intermittent reception the app keeps trying to get access and all you get is spinners.

The solution is to use the switch in the options menu to turn off the connection and make it use the cache (accessed via the hamburger at the top left of main pages). No more spinners and it's noticeably quicker - just remember to switch it on to resynch your data when you have better connectivity.

It will only hold in cache information that you have recently viewed, so before entering the stadium make sure you can see the match and players you wish to record for.
