Crop rotation
Crop rotation
Crop rotation is used to:
lessen the need for pest control
reduce the spread of soil-borne disease
And it avoids nutrient depletion in the soil
Legumes fix nitrogen. Leafy greens are planted in that bed next. Followed by fruit crops, and lastly root crops. Then we start over fixing nitrogen, and the cycle continues. This a 4 bed rotation.
