Tara has been a teacher in the Boston Public School system for 24 years. She spent many years as a classroom teacher in grades K through 2, primarily in grade 2, before transitioning to her current role as a grade 2 learning specialist. She is currently finishing up a post grad program at MGH/IHP in Language and Literacy. Literacy for ALL is her passion and mission and she’s a professional science of reading nerd. Tara lives in Melrose with her husband who is a teacher and her two amazing teenage daughters.
