Kathleen Doyle has been a theater arts teacher in Boston Public Schools for more than 20 years. She has won numerous teaching awards including two Fulbrights. First to to study art education throughout Japan, and later to China and Hong Kong to visit schools and tour their art programs. She has been a Goodwill Ambassador to Peru and won myriad grants and accolades as a teaching artist. She leads workshops for theater artists and educators around the country from N.Y.U. to Smith College. Kathleen is also a theater designer, maker and playwright whose new small-but-mighty company ‘Sunny Side of The Street Theater’ is a craftivist puppet theater company dedicated to endangered animals. Her work is in demand throughout the country from Opera Alaska to Honolulu Theatre For Youth and has been exhibited in New York City, Sao Paulo, Brazil and The Daegu Opera House in South Korea.
