Whether it's to say "Hello" or something more, a student with complex communication needs needs a way to communicate. One solution is to use a voice output communication device or VOCA. There are many ways to record a voice and allow a non-verbal person to have a voice that is understood by everyone around them. Keep in mind, that how a student accesses the switch affects their ability to use the switch.
