Mathematical and statistical epidemiology of COVID-19 in Belgium used to inform decision making

In this presentation, I will give an overview of the work that was done by the SIMID group (www.simid.be) to inform policy makers on how the COVID-19 pandemic spread(s) in Belgium.

During my presentation, I will highlight the importance of collecting data and proper use of statistical and mathematical methodology, i.e. doing research in a crisis situation.

Niel Hens je členem belgické biostatisticko-modelářské vládní poradní skupiny SIMID (http://www.simid.be/).
