Abstract: 

In this talk, I will summarize a series of works from our group on statistical methods for complex model building using disparate data sources, with important implications for modern transfer- and federated-learning methods. The crux of the methodology relies on the derivation of general relationships between model parameters across different dimensions, including those under generalized linear models and proportional hazards models. We use the generalized method of moments as a unified framework for inference and parameter estimation under the proposed framework. Applications of the methods will be illustrated using examples from genetics and epidemiology.
