The backstop and seating area at Graves Field, as seen from left field.

The only permanent seating at the park is one small section of bleachers behind home plate, but there is plenty of space for spectators to set up their own chairs, including under the shade of a large tree.

The pressbox is a small table set up against the backstop.

The batting cages and both bullpens are located out of play on the first baseĀ  side.

The field is on the campus of Southern Maine Community College, which itself sits on the former site of Fort Preble. Former fort hospitals and barrakcs from the early 1900's turned campus buildings sit beside the ballpark.

Graves Field sits right on the beach, with only SMCC's Graves Softball Field standing between the left field wall and the shore.

The softball outfield fence also acts as the left field wall for the baseball field, meaning the fence in left curves in toward home plate rather than outward like the rest of the wall.
