As improbable as this may sound, this is not a game about religion.
While this game may use myths and symbols from Abrahamic religions, it is not a statement about the Truth or practice of those religions or any others.
Instead, this game can be better thought of as an allegory, a story meant to provoke thought using familiar symbols to allow smoother communication. While the names and titles of many of the characters are shared with religious figures, they are not representative of those figures.
This game poses a theoretical scenario for a story, where the battle between Good and Evil, between Heaven and Hell, is being conducted against the backdrop of modern Chicago by beings driven by internal and external politics and dominated by a history of conflict.
The events of the game do not reflect a statement about Truth, but an opportunity for reflection. Efforts will be made to avoid specific issues that may touch on sensitive areas and to deliberately avoid negative stereotypes of religious and ethnic groups.
As a specific note, this game may deal with the end of the world, but will not deal specifically with Jewish, Christian or Islamic eschatology except as metaphor.
Overall, this game will touch on religious symbols and mythology. If that is not something you think you will enjoy, then this is not the game for you. If you think it is something nobody should enjoy, I encourage you to speak to the Storyteller staff before you pass judgment.
