Ask the big question: What is positive? What is offensive vs defensive stance?
It's just a skeleton right now: So add everyone as an editor, and feel free to add ideas. Put your name on the page itself that you want to work on! MAXIMUM OF 3 NAMES PER PAGE.
At least 6 hours of work.
Formats preferred : Mainly essays with bibliographies. Youtubes.
What rooms/pages should be here that are not here?
Participation by everyone is key. We are building something together. It's new territory.
ACTIVITY 4: GROUP MEETINGS
If you find 2-3 names on one of the pages we'll do group meetings.
ACTIVITY 3: Compare & Contrast Scavenger Hunt
Find a list of 180 books that "should/need" be taken off library shelves. There might be several lists of a large number of titles; not just the top ten titles.
Also find descriptions of the various states' bills that deal with banning books such as Texas, Florida, South Carolina, etc.
Can you find examples of School Districts who have changed their method of addressing challenges? Sample policies?
Also, try to figure out who is behind this movement such as organizations, persons with the money who are financing the effort
Instructions: Using the internet find information on this topic and place your findings into the google sheet for discussion!
