Step 1: Sign up for a Virtual Page, and get approval for all additions from Dr. L through email, you are also welcome to call to get approval on your edits and additions!

Step 2: Make the actual edits AFTER you get approval from Dr. L

• Take a before and after screen-shot or even better a zoom video to make a good eport evidence peice.

• Contact Rachel with technical issues. She has a copy saved of the orriginal site if there are massive editing issues.

Step 3: After Workshop 6 submit a textbox to canvas indivually to describe what you did in detail.

Design Project 1 will be created by each student as an individual or member of a group. It will:

• Allow you / your group to develo skill and experience in creating virtual library collections.

• 20 points

• Contribute to the Virtual Library Guide in some way as a part of your skill building and that will help other librarians build their own virtual collections.

• It will require a minimum of at least six hours.

• It will be something that each individual feels that will contribute to the knowledge of collection and connection personal career goals and interest.

• A rough draft will be due by Workshop five with the final due on Canvas one week later. Each member of a group will need to upload a project individually with individual comments on Canvas. Write and submit a brief description about what you / group contributed and about the personal skill you developed.
