This class requires the use of breakout rooms to discuss topics in small groups. This means you must use the Zoom desktop or mobile client. The browser platform will NOT work with this. See: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005769646-Participating-in-Breakout-Rooms?mobile_site=true
Workshop 1 Recording:
Build your own Notebook LM to handle all the additional reading beyond the textbook and other projects/presentations.
Read Chapters 1-4
Find a collection or several collections you can use as the basis for the entire course.
Think about the makeup of the community; their needs, and what is currently happening to serve those needs during the post pandemic world.
Look at the library you are interested in, but also look at the other types of libraries in that community that are serving patron needs.
During the workshop, we will decide on the product of your investigation. The draft for Presentation 1 is due in workshop 2 and the final will be due a week after Workshop 2.
Pay attention to all the other libraries being studied by members of our group so that you get a much broader view of various patron groups, and how libraries are serving them
Note: Please open this page in a tab and stay on our course Google site during the entire workshop
