The Supply Chain (SC) WG is motivated by use cases such as supplier discovery (i.e., supplier capability matching with manufacturing requirements), supply material traceability.
The objectives of the SC WG are to identify the requirements of the SCM reference ontology (an IOF ontology) in the short term and in the long term to develop the the SCM reference ontology (RO) and to develop application ontologies to validate the developed RO.
Initially the WG will focus on the Source and Deliver activities within the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model as shown below.
