The Process Planning and Production Scheduling (PPS) WG is motivated by use cases including process planning, manufacturability analysis, shopfloor design, and production scheduling. These tasks require data about resources (including static individualized and system specifications and real-time statuses), process plans, events, and product design from multiple sources internal and external to a manufacturing enterprise. The group is looking to develop reference ontologies that allow for seamless access of these data. Initial set of terms considered by the WG includes:
