As the roasting long day settled down andsurrendered to a blissful night, the crowd roared to an excitement as the beat box melodies lingered in the whole field.
Meet Boy Loloy, a remarkable nineteen-year- old, hailing from the District of Villanueva, Division of Misamis Oriental. Regardless of facing unique challenges due to special needs, he never fails to captivate and inspire everyone in the crowd with his amazing and exceptional beatboxing skills. The moment he sets off on the stage, Boy Loloy unleashes his creativity which leads the audience to be mesmerized by his talent.
Boy Loloy trained for a week before the MORESGAA Triangular Meet 2024 under the guidance of Ma. Geraldine Barros, who coaches Athletic, Bocce, Long Jump, and Shot Put. Boy Loloy joined Long Jump. Boy Loloy’s Dedication and hard work paid off as he trained with challenges yet fun” Thanks to his determined coach’s guidance performance, turned out to be outstanding, which made him a strong contender for the upcoming Regional Athletic Meet in Camiguin Island on May 12.
“He did very well during his performance, I feel so proud, and special thanks to the Superintendent for initiating this wonderful idea for giving them a chance to share their talents” Ma’am Rosalina, the mother of Boy Loloy has expressed her gratitude. It is a testament of the power of inclusivity in sports. It also serves that everyone regardless of their abilities, truly deserves the opportunity to participate and shine in the sporting world.
