King Cards is a personal project fintech product, offering people the opportunity to primarily buy & sell Bitcoin & Gift Cards & also pay bills. My role in this project included deciding where each content should be placed on the interface with a UI/UX designer, writing microcopy for CTA buttons & UX copy across the User Interface, including empty states.

The empty states were written with a friendly brand tone, accentuated by the popular 'eyes' emoji to convey a playful & warm tone & brand personality.
The language on this product is intended to make the user feel like they're in control, whilst guiding them in making their own decisions. The words "what colour would you like?" does this. It gives the user a sense of control because they're allowed to choose whatever colour their virtual card should look like.
