Distribution of Food Items by UTTARAN on 10.11.23 in Dr B C Roy PG Institute

On 10th November, 2023 the event of UTTARAN was held at Dr B C Roy PG Institute of Pediatric Science near Phool Bagan to celebrate Diwali among the ailing children admitted there. We arranged to distribute some food items like cake , biscuits, chocolate, complan etc., Slippers, toys and a few sarees for the post delivery mothers. The faces of them were glowing in pure joy as well as we felt an immense pleasure too. We made this Diwali really memorable.
Distribution of School Bag by UTTARAN on 24.03.23 in Asansol

The team UTTARAN has witnessed a glorifying event held at Kantagoria, Palashdiha, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman. We were able to distribute school bags and accessories to around 55 underprivileged children of the area to take part in mission of “Zero School Dropout” run by Mr. Chandrasekhar Kundu. The whole event was covered by the news channel TV9 Bangla and reported to the Hindi daily the Arthik Dhara on 25th March, 2023.
Event of UTTARAN on 11.04.22 in Bidhannagar Sub-divisional Hospital

Team UTTARAN (Social Service Club of Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IEM, Kolkata) has visited Bidhannagar Sub-divisional Hospital, DD-36, sec-1, Saltlake, Kolkata-700091, on 11th April to distribute 70 (approx.) baskets of fruits and sweets to the patients admitted there to wish their speedy recovery as well as to wish them SUBHO NOBOBORSHO 1429.
Event of UTTARAN on 02.11.22 in Kolkata near Kestopur

Team UTTARAN has successfully completed another clemency event on 2nd November, 2022, with the support and hard work of the department of Electrical Engineering by distributing woolen garments and food items to the residents (old people of age group 70-80) of Nathun Ghar old age home at Kestopur run by Jagarani.

UTTARAN has successfully completed their first charity event on the occasion of Children's Day with the support and hard work of the department of Electrical Engineering by distributing few necessary items to the residents (children of age group 6-13) of Siddharth United Social Welfare Mission.
