IEEE TECH-SANGAM 2025
The student team of Department of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), Kolkata has made it to the Final Round of IEEE Tech-Sangam 2025, organized by the IEEE Computer Society MIT-ADT University Student Chapter, IEEE EMBS Pune Chapter, and IEEE MIT-ADT University Student Branch, in collaboration with the IEEE Pune Section and IEEE Mumbai Section at the duration 12.08.2025-13.08.2025 . Out of nearly 350 teams across India, only 50 teams reached the finals — and we are honored to be one of them!
⚡ ⚡ The project: Smart Grid Analysis System for Smart Cities.
The team showcased how a Smart V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) system can Stabilize the power grid during peak load conditions . Provide additional income for EV owners when selling back stored energy. This wouldn’t have been possible without the invaluable guidance of Dr. Sourav Das, Assistant Prof, Dept of Electrical Engineering, IEM, Kolkata.

SOUHRIDYA BHATTACHARJEE Team-Frontliner, of EE 2018-22 batch is awarded with 3rd Prize in the category "Working Conditions; Ensuring Occupational Health and Safety Issues" for presenting a prototype/ innovative solution of "Four in One SMART MASK" under the theme "India's Economic Recovery Post Covid; Reverse Migration and Rehabilitation Plan to support "Atmanirbhar Bharat".
