Electrical Machine Laboratory
All types of DC generators and motors, both squirrel cage and wound type 3-phase induction motors, single phase and 3-phase transformers, Synchronous generators and motors, single phase induction motors and induction generator are available in the lab for verification of electromagnetic theory of electrical machines and testings for the same. Required measuring instruments such as volmeters, ammeters, wattmeters (both ac & dc), tachogenerators, multimeters are available for conducting the experiments for finding out the characteristics of different electrical machines and also testing as per BIS specification. All controls of the machines are panel mounted.

Analog and Digital Electronics Laboratory
Analog and Digital Electronics Laboratory is an introductory experimental laboratory that explores the design, construction, and debugging of analog electronic circuits. Several laboratory experiments investigate the performance characteristics of diodes, transistors,op-amps, 555 Timer, Logic Gates, Multiplexer-Decoder, Register, Counter and several other sequential and combinational digital logic circuits. Students are encouraged in the design and implementationof projects in relevant field.

Power Electronics Laboratory
Power Electronics Laboratory enables the students to become familiar with various power electronic devices for different applications, learn the primitive concepts of SCRs, its characteristics and gate triggering circuits, possess an ability to understand the differences between different types of commutation circuits for SCR, control different rectifier circuits using SCRs, know the fundamental concepts of DC-DC converter (chopper), learn about importance of inverter, its principle of operation & control technique

Power System Laboratory
Power System Lab is equipped with devices which can be used for the identification of generalized parameters of a transmission line, for measurement of faults, for understanding the working of DC distribution system, for power control of an alternator, for breakdown strength test of solid and liquid insulating materials and several other purposes. The main purpose of this lab is to provide hands on experience to the students about the day-to-day operation of power transmission, distribution and protection happening around us.

Control System Laboratory
In this lab Students will learn to apply Laplace transform, transfer functions, modeling RLC circuit, block diagrams for simulation and control. Students will be able to use the acquired skills to identify, evaluate and solve control engineering problems. Students will be able to design and determine control system’s parameters and transfer functions by combining both theoretical and applied analysis that they have acquired in their control courses and in this lab.Students will be able to apply what they have learned theoretically in the field of control engineering using different techniques.

Electrical Measurement Laboratory
The laboratory is basically for measurement of different electrical parameters. This lab is equipped with different measuring instruments like AC and DC bridges for measurent of electrical parameters like R,L,C, frequency etc and current and potential transformer for power mesurement and single phase energy meter for energy measurement and potentiometer for callibration of different ammeter, voltmeter and wattmeter. This lab also provides a hands-on training and detailed understanding of various measuring instruments.
