Department hosted IEMPOWER conference successfully in 2019 and 2021. International Conference on Industrial Electronics Mechatronics Electrical & Mechanical Power aims to provide a premier platform for Electrical, Electronics and Computer engineers, researchers, scientists and academician from universities, research organizations and industries to present their work and to share experiences and ideas in the emerging areas such as Renewable Energy, Energy storage, Power Electronics & drives, Smart devices and communication systems, Artificial Intelligence, Mechatronics & Robotics, Control and automation etc.

2. IEMERA 2020 (1st to 3rd October 2020, Virtual Mode, Previous Location: Imperial College London)
International Conference on Intelligent Energy Management, Electronics, Electric & Thermal Power, Robotics and Automation was organized in October 2020.
Energy and Power in Engineering are one of the earliest fields that have developed within Electrical and Mechanical Engineering dealing with generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of mechanical and electric power. IEMERA is a three-day International Conference specially designed with cluster of scientific and technological sessions, providing a common platform for the researchers, academicians, industry delegates across the globe to share and exchange their knowledge and contribution. 4. IEMRE 2019 & 2021(Date: 5thto 7thof February, 2021, IEM Management House)
The International Conference on Innovations in Energy Management and Renewable Resources (IEMRE 2021), was organized by the Department of ME, EE and EEE, Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata from 5th-7th February, 2021 on virtual platform. The conference was technically sponsored by IEEE Kolkata Section, Smart Society, USA and Solar Energy Society of India. All accepted and presented papers only be published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The conference IEMRE was first organized in 2019 as an International Students Congress. It was first introduced in order to inculcate the culture of Research and Development in the field of Renewable Resources among the student communities. It was aimed to gather students, researchers, academicians, and decision makers, manufacturers together to discuss the environmental problems caused mainly by energy usages, conversion and proposals on their solutions.
5. IS3DPT4.0-2021(Date : 5th to 7th of February, 2021, IEM Management House )
International Symposium on 3D Printing Technology
Department of Mechanical engineering had successfully hosted three episodes of International Symposium on 3D Printing Technology. The symposium provided a forum for sharing of knowledge among researchers: offering deeper insight into the topic. Creating awareness in the latest field of additive manufacturing. 3D printing is a frontier technology that promises to increasingly revolutionize production processes in the not-too-distant future; in terms of sustainable manufacturing, efficient production, better design techniques and more sophisticated infrastructure. India, with its skilled and tech savvy workforce and robust legal and IPR regime, is poised to be the next manufacturing destination of the world. The symposium intends was to bring together leading researchers of additive manufacturing from around the world to interact and share their research and ideas with each other. We believe this symposium will play a key role in bridging the gap between dispersed knowledge groups.
