こんにちは、ICU和太鼓部です！私たちは主に水曜日（17:30~21:00)・土曜日（9:00~13:00)に活動しています。アットホームな雰囲気の中、先輩後輩の垣根を超えて和気藹々と練習しています。主に年2回、秋に開催されるICU祭と3月の4年生卒業公演に向けて活動しており、夏には楽しい合宿もあります！打ち手のほとんどが初心者から始めるので、未経験者や体力に自信がないあなたでも大歓迎！先輩たちが楽しく真剣に打ち方を教えてくれます。未経験から始めた1年生でも半年後には舞台上で打ち、4年生になれば作曲する技術さえ身につきます。一般的な「中太鼓」以外にも笛や鳴り物などで演奏をしているので、あなたにピッタリな楽器と巡り会えるはずです。興味がある方も、ちょっとした質問でもお気軽にご連絡ください！部員一同、お待ちしています！
Hello, we are the ICU Wadaiko Club (Wadaiko: traditional Japanese drums). Practices are held mostly on Wednesdays (5:30pm-9pm) and Saturdays (9am-1pm). We have a very tight-knit and friendly community with strong friendships across all grade levels. Our practices are in preparation for two major performances, one being the ICU festival in autumn and the second being the senior graduation performance held in the spring. No prior experience is needed; in fact, almost all of our members started Wadaiko at ICU. In just a few months, all freshmen will be able to perform on stage, and by the time you are a senior, you will even have the skillsets to create your own music. Aside from the traditional drum, we also perform using flutes and other instruments, so you are bound to find something perfect for you.
