Microsoft Word and Excel
These programs helps in adding all the names, flags, and country names to the templates.
It's like Google Docs and Sheets but you MUST have the MS Office ones as only these contain the functions and integration we need.
Unfortunately, I do not have access to Pirated Office. Please buy it for yourself
, or try out the cracked ones found online.I was notified that the School did in fact buy a laptop for HSINMUN IT, and it should contain proper Microsoft Office.
Adobe Photoshop
This Program is used to make the templates we need.
I have Pirated programs and haven't encountered any malicious effects, though it's from a pretty sketchy Russian website (repack.me).
PDF Reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC)
We need to convert all files to PDF for the Printing Shop, and it's best to have a reader so you can double-check everything is correct.
This should be a free program.
However any PDF reader should be fine.

Well, I just want to be helpful and mention here what I used, but I am not responsible for any damages that this may create, what worked safe and sound for me, might not work for you. Do this at your own risk!

The following is a quick document on downloading from repack.me (dropdown) followed by a quick tutorial.

Here is a quick guide on how to install these programs.
Before the first step, please copy the zipped file onto the computer and extract all
First Please DISABLE all your Internet connection, Wifi and Ethernet.
Open the file of the program you want to install, Should click the first autorun.exe
Follow the on screen instructions to install, remember to change from russian to english(Maybe)
When prompted with an error, select your destination for where you want to install the program files,
I recommend on Program Files(86)/adobe on your local drive
Press the windows key, search "Firewall"
Add the program to the firewall, and unselect it (This is to make sure it wont connect to the internet)
Open first without internet to check that it is working, and then close and try again with internet.
If it works (Opens and useable) Great!!! congratulations!!!
If it didn't work, then too bad :(
Look for others, or uninstall and try again, or ask for help..
The "Flags" Folder
The "Flags" Folder
There is a folder named "Flags". This folder is what Microsoft Word uses to place flags into the Lanyard documents, so it is essential that you do this step. Don't worry it's not anything hard to do.
Literally, just move the "Flags" folder directly into your C: drive.
When you notice you are missing flags in the word documents, just search for a high-quality picture of the missing flag, download it, move it into the flags folder, and select all in the word document then press F9 to update it (in the word document further explained in Making the Actual Things).

HSINMUN Uses the Trojan Pro font for the Lanyards and Placards, so make sure you have this working in all the programs.

Honestly, this is completely up to you, what I have here is purely just suggestions, and my experience.

The idea is that with a system of folders, you will be able to work with an organized computer. Instead of all of the files being everywhere in a mess, though if you work better like that, that's up to you.
You can check out the folder system I have and see how you like it, customize it or something.
The ultimate point is for you to have a clear PDF folder for all of the things, so its easier for you to upload them to the google drive.
