The Tech team mostly handles setting up the technological aspects of the committee rooms
Connecting Microphones, Adaptors.
You will mostly be helping out the Admin team with the committee boxes and general set-up.
A few weeks before the conference you need to go and tally up the technology equipment in the committee boxes, make sure that you note the label numbers down in a spreadsheet.
You should help the admin heads with organizing the contents of these boxes as most of the time they are short-handed.
Apparently, this will be more standardized by the office, I am not sure what happens. If you would like to add more information go ahead and email me with the subject of "hsinmun site suggestion".
This set-up will be quite easy, just assign the tech admins a few rooms each and let them do it, you can just go around to check it later.
When checking, make sure all of the technical aspects are working properly.
VGA cables and adaptors are plugged in correctly and it projects, bring a laptop to check each room.
Check that all the microphones are working properly.
Lights, AC,etc,. You know, the basic stuff in each classroom.
The certificates must be finished and sorted in order of school before the conference (like the day before), as some directors need them early, on Saturday.
The Admin Heads or the Teachers will help you check. Or they could be the ones to do it.
They may require your assistance here, but it's unlikely. They may ask about helping with the power cables in the ground (some are broken) and AC.
