Troubleshoot any and all technical issues that the committee rooms, "Main hall" (old gym), and approval panel (Group Counseling room).
Handling the process of printing the approved resolutions and distributing them.
Maintaining the Lighting, Projection, of the Old Gym during the opening and closing ceremonies, also including lunchtimes.
You also need to run around the committee rooms to make sure that everything regarding projecting is working properly.
Basic Troubleshooting steps
Turning it Off and On Again.
If parts (Adaptors, Cables(VGA), Microhpnes) are determined to be broken, just replace them.
Unplug and plug it in again.
Maintain communication (messenger) with the tech admins and the teacher.
If you and the IT Team cannot fix the problem, just ask either the MUN advisors, Miss Crystal, or an IT teacher, Miss Casey
Once the delegates have their resolutions, they come to the Panel of teachers to have them approved for their afternoon debates.
At least one tech admin needs to stay in the approval panel to update the "Approval Progress Doc" and to print the first copy of the resolutions for it to be mass printed downstairs in the academic office by the IT Coordinator.
You need to be familiar with using the large office printer, ask Mr. Hugo to learn it cause they just bought a new one recently (2021 Feb).
When printing, I recommend having them print stapled double-sided so we don't use way too much paper.

Depending on the teachers, normally the approval panel would be in the Group Counseling Room. We are to use the tables there and bring some tables from the 4th-floor conference room.
It is listed as our responsibility, but most of the time the teachers will arrange the chrome book cart.
We set up the chrome books with the IBSH test email and let each teacher decide how they want to use the chrome books.
There is also a printer there that needs to be connected and one tech admin will be assigned there.
Remember to ask or just decided whether people should keep their shoes on or not.
______________________________
The Tech Admin there will update the "Approval Panel Google Doc" with Panel availability, to indicate to the chairs whether the delegates are free to come.
Remember to disable chrome extensions such as Grammarly, or else it will be super laggy.
The delegates will come in and they need to get their "approval checklist" filled out with the teacher.
The Tech Admin stationed in the Approval Panel will then print out the first copy of the approved resolutions, update the status of that specific resolution, and send the copy down to the academic office (admins, or tech admins), for the Coordinator to mass print the resolutions.
The IT Coordinator in the Academic office will mass print out the resolutions.
Should the printer commit self die, try the one in the Student Affairs Office, should that one also commit self die, erm...pray.
Once finished with printing, either use the Tech Admins to send them or make the committee admins deliver them. And the Coordinator will update the "Approval Panel Doc" with the status.
You are in charge of the projections, lights, and sounds. Don't be intimidated, cause it shouldn't be too hard, hopefully, I think.
Play music before the ceremony starts using any device with an AUX jack. Someone should have a HSINMUN playlist, HERE is the Spotify playlist I was given.
Tech Admins when not doing anything, are to sit at the side of the gym and help clean up after the ceremonies.

With the inputs to the three screens. Get the IT teachers to help you or something.
Depends on the time, the teacher will tell you what they want to be displayed on the screens.
Tech Admin's work, These need to work out exactly what time they need to do their work, so you need to go over the Ceremonies master script beforehand. The following is a sample work assignment from previous years.
One tech admin needs to be upstairs at the projector screen controls.
One needs to be backstage to handle the stage lighting and Projector switch.
One tech admin, though can be the same as the projector screen controller, needs to be at the general lights control under the stairs beside the backstage entrance.
Projecting the Seating chart to the main screen, and use the pinch motion on the trackpad to enlarge it and close all the side panels in the PDF viewer (Acrobat DC).
We realize using a PDF to display the seating charts is not the best way, but I couldn't come up with a better solution, can you? Please do tell me if you do find a way : )
The Teachers will tell you what they want on each of the projectors.
Project them accordingly using your laptop and chrome books.
Otherwise, when there is nothing more important to do for the tech team, they should help with the food, seating, trash.
