In 1996, David Wile created Wile's Synthesized HPT model which examines the factors that drive human performance. Wile's model was considered the most comprehensive diagnostic models in understanding human performance and where to apply it. Wile's model consisted of 7 factors that influence human performance:
Wile's model splits the factors into two categories the external and internal, and then groups the factors into tangible and intangible factors that would effect the external environment. The model provides examples of interventions that can be useful to the HPT practitioner making it one of the quickest models to apply and get results to the problems.
