Swordsman
The Temple of the Sun brought their faith to Jadame the only way faith is ever brought: with steel.
Their well-equipped, powerful swordsmen were the best proselytes.
Guard Captain
All Templars are believers, but some prioritise military tradition over religious doctrine. The Arm of the Sun is an order that unites those who seek enlightenment through combat prowess rather than inquisitorial teachings.
----------------
They are all faithful (what happens to dissenters?), but some remain more secular.
The Arm of the Sun is an internal order that is allowed some leeway.
Their best fighters lead by example.
Sun's Aegis
They find power in steel. Steel, and the belief that any ordinary infantryman can become a Paragon, should they strive to.
It cannot be denied that this grants them certain blessi
ngs.
Crossbowman
Humans have never mastered the gentle art of talking to beasts.
Perhaps these crossbowmen with their loyal hawks are an exception; or perhaps they just offer treats. (It's treats.)
Astringer
Austringers and their falcons possess razor- sharp instincts, striking in perfect unison at a single call. This rare bond makes them invaluable to the Templar forces一though some zealots question the purity of their souls.
----------------
Some of their crossbowmen rely on their birds so much, they become one with their instinct and sharp sight.
That allows them to strike more often.
Does their so- called "Chalice" (i.e. the Sun) accept such souls as well?
Heavy Crossbowman
Neither blessings nor gentle arts win wars. Good armor does.
The Temple of the Sun puts great emphasis on forging — one's soul, body, and heavy plate. To them it is mantra — however, the popularity of smithing among the flock doesn't hurt their warfare capabi
lities.
Griffin
Griffins are not native to Jadame 一 they were brought from Karigor Isle and Antagarich by the Templars. A powerful symbol among the faithful, they soar high in the skies and embolden armies to venture deep into the unknown that surrounds their towns.

Cavalry
If templar infantry is the anvil, these cavaliers are the hammer of inquisitorial forces. Mounted on sturdy steeds, they charge into battle, inspiring their troops while wreaking havoc in enemy ranks.

Most military orders within the Church are led by a mother superior, acting as commander in the absence of higher authority. Their presence on the battlefield signals an inevitable advance they will see it through.
