Skeleton

  This is what happens when you try to revive a person with no specific ritual. It isn't even a creature per se — just a pile of bones cobbled together with magic and basic motor reflexes.

Wight

  A person so dear to someone, they were brought back to life against their will. Dissolving, confused, they claw at others' memories, desperately trying to remember-or-steal their names and identities back.

Wraith

  Sometimes the spirit of a risen person is strong and focused enough to realize their predicament is forever. This is not a happy notion for anyone involved.

Phantasm

  Not every will'o'wisp is friendly - some of them are misguided souls disturbed by magic and fading.. fading... slowly losing themselves to oblivion and flickering 

away...

Undead Pet

  Some necromancers raise elves and humans. Other raise creatures that are actually dear and loyal to them. Dogs do not suffer in undeath. Is there a fate better than to stay at a master's side forever?

Bargeist

  It is said that the largest, most fearsome undead dogs attack villages at night, stealing children for their nefarious masters and infecting them with vampirism. Has anyone tried to offer them treats?

Graverobber

  An opportunist who followed undead masters to help them produce skeletons and bodies — in any way he could, either by digging old corpses up or creating new ones.

Merchant of Death

  Producing bodies for necromantic endeavour is lucrative, but trapping souls is so much more delicious. Merchants of Death know how to simulate love to create creatures bound by it.

Kennel Master

  Producing bodies for necromantic endeavour can be a grisly business — but not if you work with creatures that are genuinely happy to serve their masters in unlife just like they 

were in life.

Lich

  A self revived undead who chained themselves to existence with a phylactery and a rite prepared before death.

Pestilent Lich

  Necromancers are the best healers, for the force of life is just the force of death rewound.

Sanguine Lich

  Miasma is another form of eternal life, always shifting and changing, 

but never dying.

Dread Knight

  A knight who was so engulfed in battle, they missed the moment they died — and kept fighting, their soul leaking from the remains and I infusing the armor.

Some undead knights only remember the thrill and rage of battle. Horrifying to their enemies whilst enraged, torn asunder yet seemingly real, they bathe in their foes' blood, becoming stronger with every strike.

Vampire

Vampire Lord

  Vampirism tends to thrive in aristocratic circles more so than it does among commoners. Why? Perhaps it's the aura of being a chosen one, of belonging to a secret society. They don't want to share it with just anyone.

Vampire Scholar

  Some of them experiment with blood magic. They look for ways to breed better food, to control others through blood, to awaken its concealed qualities. We should be particularly wary of these ones.
