Canon Alfred Damu was formerly working as an engineer in the Oil and Gas Industry in Sarawak before leaving to answer the call of God sometime during mid-life. He did his theological studies (Masters of Divinity) at Seminary Theology Malaysia (STM) and is also currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) via STM. He has served in full-time ministry for the last 16 years, spending 12 years doing pastoral ministry in a local parish. He especially has a heart for missions and evangelism and has participated in mission initiatives both locally and abroad. Canon Alfred Damu has been serving as the Warden of the House of the Epiphany (The Diocesan Centre for Ministerial Training) for the last 4 years. He is married to Shirley Gren and they have been blessed with 2 sons, Daniel and Samuel, both currently studying in university and are also actively involved in the church ministry
The Revd. Kelvin graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado, USA with a BSc. in Journalism (Advertising). He worked in the printing industry from 1999 to 2009 before he resigned and was sent to Seminary Theoloji Malaysia (STM) in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan the following year. He graduated with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and returned to Sarawak to serve in St. Faith’s Church, Kenyalang before being posted to his current church in 2018. The Revd. Kelvin loves to watch videos on YouTube in his spare time and enjoys listening to a wide variety of music, from classical to metal to k-pop. He loves sketching, traveling, photography, and reading up on church history. Above all he loves Jesus and dedicates all his deeds to Him for His glory and honour.
The Revd Wilston Trin is a Lecturer of the House of Epiphany since January 2024. He is also the Director of the Diocesan Christian Education and Literature Board of the Diocese of Kuching. He earned his Bachelor of Divinity degree from Seminari Theoloji Malaysia, and his Master of Arts (Theology) from Moore Theological College in Sydney, Australia. His passion is for God's people to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus and his gospel. He is married to Vivian since 2021.
The Reverend Richard Chang was born in Kuching, Malaysia, and is of Hakka descent. Before joining the sacred ministry he had a career in graphic design and sales and service for a combined total of fourteen years. In 2007, Richard married Ms. Juliana Ng. The couple has been blessed with two children.
His theological education began at Sabah Theological Seminary, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) in 2011. He furthered his studies at Trinity Theological College, Singapore in 2019, obtaining a Master of Theology (M.Th.) with a focus on the New Testament. His research centered on “The Study of Reconciliation in Ephesians 2:14-18 under the Temple Sacrifice System Perspective.”
Richard began his first placement at St. Thomas’ Cathedral, Kuching, under the Chinese-speaking Congregation ministry in 2012. He served in the Youth and Young Adult Ministry. His second placement was in 2014 as the Chinese-speaking Congregation Priest in Charge at St. Columba, Miri. In 2021, Richard has been serving as the Chinese-speaking Congregation Priest in Charge at Tabuan Jaya Anglican Church, Kuching. His roles include Serving at House of Epiphany (HOE) training and equipping programs, and he has been the Vicar of Tabuan Jaya Anglican Church since June 2022. He was elected as a Clergy Delegate representing the Diocese of Kuching in the Provincial of Southeast Asia Anglican Synod (2023-2025). And was appointed to serve on The Diocese of Kuching Mission Board Committee for the term 2024-2026.
The Revd. Alan Goh is married to Jane Chee Shiok Yen, and blessed with a son Solomon Goh and a daughter, Sophea Goh. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom with a B.Eng(Hons) in Civil Engineering in year 2000. He worked in a civil and structural consultant firm as a structural engineer and resident engineer from 2001 - 2006 before he shifted his career to be a lecturer Architectural and Interior Designer students at Limkokwing Institute of Creative Technology, Kuching campus from 2007 - 2018. in 2019, he resigned and was sent to Seminary Theoloji Malaysia (STM) in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan for his Master of Divinity (MDiv) and returned to Sarawak to serve in St Faith’s Church, Kenyalang in October 2021. The Revd Alan Goh loves watching kungfu movies, though he is not a sporty person. He is fond of movies portraying historical facts and science invention. He loves the nature and ponder upon how vast and awesome the nature and universe is. He has passion on bringing youth up in their spiritual life. He is always in the learning mode and sometimes maybe slow to respond as he maybe thinking or perhaps reflecting on himself. Above all, he loves the Lord and wanted to serve Him to his best capability.
