To help every church member grow in spiritual maturity.
To equip and train every church member in disciple-making, Christian witness and service.

"To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith of the knowledge of the Son of God." Eph. 4:12-13.

The Ministry of The Centre

The Diocesan Training Centre for Ministries has as its objective the discernment, nurturing, and development of ministries in general and, in particular, to provide opportunities and develop resources that will enhance these ministries. There is a constant need to draw on theological insights, fresh models and practical experiences in exercising the very highest level of integrity, personal judgment and competence in the Parish leadership.

The ministry of the Training Centre will focus on the training and formation of clergy, the equipping and empowering of the lay readers and ministry leaders.

How Does The Centre Achieve Its Ministry?

The Centre facilitates and organizes, amongst other things, workshops, training sessions, seminars, conferences, study groups and retreats.

On Which Level Do These Events Take Place?

They could happen on a diocesan, regional and parish level, depending on the need and the nature of the particular event, and the composition of participants.

How Can You Support The Centre?

You could do one or more of the following:

Pray of its works,
Sign up for the Courses or Programmes that it runs,
Volunteer to help with some of its activities,

You can make a financial contribution towards:

The general running cost of the Centre,
Transport,
Equipment and materials,
Training of Ordinands,
Cost of books and Audio-Visual materials for its Library,
Study bursaries for further training of Clergy.
