Course Description
This course is to help students build their spiritual life and experience spiritual growth through the study of God’s Word, prayer, fellowship, witnessing, worship, and service.
Course Objectives:
- gain greater insight into their unique identity in Christ; understand their identity in relation to God, the Body of Christ, and the world;
- to desire to grow in their spiritual life, in their relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, fellowship and witnessing.
- value the practice of periodic self-examination through Spiritual Journaling and reflect on the various life experiences and relationships; an awareness of God's presence and activity in their life;
- discern particularly formative experiences and relationships in their life story which will form their personal testimony.
-examine particular struggles with sin in light of their life story and ministry; understand the means of grace available through God’s indwelling Spirit, Spiritual practices, and the body of believers.

Course Evaluation:
Assignment 1: Complete the task according to the Self-check Homework Chart as per the Workbook exercises. (20%)
Assignment 2: Write 3 Spiritual Journals (3,000 words in total) based on the following passages: (60%)
· Paul's Encounter with the Risen Lord (Acts 22:1-6)
· “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Mark 8:34)
· The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
Assignment 3: Essay of 1,000 words: My personal testimony and calling. (20%)
