Chichele College exhibitions

Open to all

From March to November, many local artists exhibit and sell their work in the Chichele College. As well as exhibitions by local history and archaeological societies, and local artisans.

Opening hours 10am until 4pm unless stated – FREE ENTRY

Exhibitions 2019

13–14 April

Colin Gould | Fine line artist working with gouache (form of watercolour) with subjects including aviation, motorsport and animals.

13–19 June

Gerald Porter & friends | Landscape artists whose works have been generated by different locations.

6–7 July

Michaela Cordes | the inspiration for her new stone sculptures and multi-media paintings comes from the “Creation Story” and ancient mythology.

20–21 July

Richard Walker | Semi-abstract oil paintings based on people, landscapes and animals.

22–26 August

Maureen Forde, Marlene Wlodarczyk, Wendy Elliott & Co | Printmakers exploring traditional and contemporary techniques featuring a range of original art work.

31 August – 1 September

Marlene Snee and Tamsin Edwards | An exhibition of paintings, showing the very different styles of two local artists in a range of media. Also prints and greetings cards.

26–27 October

David Miles | Original watercolour paintings featuring landscapes with moody skies and a show of wildfowl
