I've been more than a little lax in documenting game-sessions as they've been underway, so the first several sessions involving discovering and recovering the Diligent are very sparse at this point.
The characters are on shore leave (for lack of a better term) from their contracted berths and work on the Freefalling Angel, a light freighter running out of Psyche, while it’s in berth for some repairs and upgrades, and discover… something. They aren’t sure exactly what just yet, but it feels… odd and maybe somewhat sinister.
Having recovered the Provenance Chain data for the encrypted message, which included the orbital coordinates of the source of the message and the fact that it was transmitted from a UNSF light cruiser (the Diligent, UNSF-LMC-0BE0), the characters arrange to ship out to the location aboard the Freefalling Angel to see if there's anything worth salvaging of the vessel.
