Miscellaneous Facts

• Psyche has approximately 120 Recycling Units (usually referred to as "Rec-Us," pronounced "wreck-yous").

• Of those, only a handful (numbers 5, 29, 73 and 101) are capable of handling large masses of biological matter — bodies, not to put too fine a point on it.

• Psyche, like most of the Belt facilities, has "sleep pods" for transients and those who just need a place to sleep for a night. They are frequently used, at least on Psyche, by those with insufficient income to hold down a place of their own.

• Hephæstus Security on Psyche doesn't work too hard at keeping the homeless out of the halls, but they do urge them into out-of-the-way places.
