Relatives in the Inland Northwest

In conjunction with our Family Discovery Day 2023, FamilySearch has created Relatives in the Inland Northwest, which will allow us to discover family relationships with relatives and to make personal connections with them.

And don’t worry, even if you won’t be with us in person you can still participate!

How to join Relatives of the Inland Northwest

Please follow the steps below, opt-in and get connected to the FamilySearch Family Tree today. This experience is completely free, and getting started is easy.

  1. Sign into your FamilySearch account or create a FamilySearch account.

  2. Join the Relatives in the Inland Northwest experience on the FamilySearch website (this must be done via the website and cannot be done on the mobile app).

  3. Download the FamilySearch Family Tree app, so you can have this experience with you wherever you may be.

  4. Connect to the FamilySearch Family Tree. This can typically be done by extending your tree to the first deceased person on each family line. Once connected, you can discover what others have shared about your common ancestry and determine family relationships with others who are connected to the tree.

When joining and opting into this experience, you can determine what information to share with others. All information you enter for other living individuals—including names, dates, and places—is only viewable to you and is not shared with others.

I am so excited to see all of the family connections we will make!
