About Havensake

A successful successor to the old deviantART roleplay group "The Golden Butterfly," Havensake is a cat-based roleplaying group that pulls inspiration from a plethora of fantasy media- including the "Warriors" series by Erin Hunter and the tabletop RPG "Dungeons & Dragons."

Havensake explores seven Tribes of cats separated by specific elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Light, Shadow, Void, and Water) living in the fictional region of Corondryx, where they explore, hunt, build, and fight for their homes.

We take place primarily on Discord, and having a Discord account is required to join and participate in the group! Nonmembers may join the Discord whenever they'd like by reaching out to staff, and get to know the members and the group itself this way.

Havensake is generally run by 7 admins and 7 mods, with each being in charge of a specific Tribe.

Staff work tirelessly to make the group as fun, active, and involved as possible. We appreciate everyone on our team!

[ Improving the Group ]

Staff around the clock are always trying to find new ways to improve the group. Whether this be by introducing new events, new mechanics, or by improving upon the already existing structures the group has built, we are always trying to strive to make the group as fun and active as possible for our members.

[ Keeping Members Safe ]

We take member comfortability and safety very seriously. We also believe in being as fair as possible. Should staff ever be concerned about a member, we will try to reach out first to speak with the member and understand their side and reasoning before deciding anything. If admins are split on decisions, they will defer to the mods for second opinions.

[ Work Payouts ]

From time to time, admins and mods will do large tasks that help benefit the group in some way, but are a lot of work to make or complete. Admins and mods are paid EXP dependent on the work and effort that they put in. Large projects can include making spreadsheets, like the character cards, recipes sheet, etc. This EXP does not count for tribe cup and instead goes to earned, similar to the EXP earned from art assets.

Admins are those who primarily run the group. They establish and enforce rules, make handy dandy websites like this for members to enjoy, and make sure everything runs smoothly. Individually, the admins usually have different jobs, but work collectively as a team for the members' benefit.

Mods are hired by admins usually to assist them with their Tribes, but take on other tasks as well to make the group function a bit better. They may count EXP, handle trades, run their Tribe when their admin isn't around, etc.
