Companion Planting and Water Management

The garden setup is a the 2,000 square foot micro farm, with many companion crops and herbs planted alongside the primary vegetables. These companion plants help naturally mitigate pests while attracting beneficial insects and pollinators, creating a balanced and healthy growing environment.

The water supply is managed through over 360 feet of Drip Works drip irrigation, supported by timers to ensure efficient and consistent watering. This system delivers moisture directly to the plant roots while reducing waste and conserving resources.

Natural rainfall also plays an important role, with Mother Nature helping to supplement the irrigation system throughout the growing season.

This combination of thoughtful planting and efficient water management supports strong, healthy crops and sustainable growing practices.
