Harvest Free Announces Donor Partnership with Family Farm and Home
Harvest Free is thrilled to announce a new donor partnership with Family Farm and Home! A family-owned business originally based in Michigan, FFH is expanding its footprint in Ohio with two brand-new locations:
Canton: 4433 Whipple Ave NW, Alliance: 1370 E State St.
The partnership came together quickly after we reached out through their corporate website. Within days, Canton Store Manager Marlona Hurst reached out with an eager offer to help, stating:
"We are very interested in contributing items from Family Farm and Home that could be useful to the garden and help support this great community project... I look forward to speaking with you and finding a way for Family Farm and Home to support this wonderful effort."
True to their word, FFH has already generously donated seed soil and starting trays for next year's planting season!
We extend a massive thank you to Marlona Hurst and her entire team for stepping up to support our mission. Please show your support for this wonderful community partner by visiting a Family Farm and Home location near you, browsing online at familyfarmandhome.com, or following their updates on the Family Farm and Home Facebook page!
Harvest Free Partners with Ohio Earth Food to Support Sustainable Growing
We are excited to share that Harvest Free has officially formed a donor partnership with Ohio Earth Food, a trusted, family-owned organic agricultural supplier based right here in Hartville, Ohio.
The partnership launched after a quick email inquiry from our team. We were searching for organic Corn Gluten Meal to help with natural weed suppression, and Ohio Earth Food responded in record time. Ted Stutz and the team generously provided a bag for our project, sending us off with a kind note: "Good luck! Love what you're doing!"
Since 1972, Ohio Earth Food has been a staple for commercial growers and retail consumers alike, specializing in organic soil amendments, lawn care, pest control, and livestock products. We are deeply grateful to local businesses like theirs that make our mission possible.
