Harvest Free utilizes organic fertilizers and natural soil amendments to promote healthy plants and nutrient-rich produce.
For tomatoes and other crops, I use organic fertilizers from trusted suppliers, including Jobe’s Organics, along with natural nutrient sources such as:
These organic inputs provide a balanced supply of essential plant nutrients (N.P.K):
Nitrogen (N): Supports strong leaf and stem growth
Phosphorus (P): Promotes root development and fruit production
Potassium (K): Enhances plant strength, resilience, and overall crop quality
To improve soil structure and long-term fertility, I also amend the soil with natural compost and leaf mold. Composting is conducted on site, allowing organic materials to be returned to the soil in a sustainable cycle. These amendments increase organic matter, improve moisture retention, and support beneficial soil biology. I'm always open to have cardboard donated to my efforts, please contact me via Facebook.
Harvest Free is also actively exploring the use of aged horse manure and additional worm castings to further enrich the soil naturally and sustainably. Donations of each are welcomed.
Healthy soil is the foundation of every successful harvest, ensuring strong plants and fresh, nutritious food for the community.
