If there’s one thing European-based DJ Haidak is sure of, it’s that this pandemic will end. It might not be next month, or maybe not even next year, but it will surely end – and when it does, DJs will once again be able to mix in nightclubs and events venues all over the world.

Haidak has also mentioned that countless young, aspiring DJs everywhere had their start cut short because of the pandemic. He lists below three events where these young guns may hone their talents and grow their fan base.

Birthdays: Festive events are usually where DJs can shine. DJs who know the celebrants already have a leg in. It’s also important to note that birthday parties come in all shapes and sizes, and as long as it looks like a decent time, DJs should never turn an opportunity down.

Weddings: Weddings are fantastic events for DJs, especially if they have the right playlist. DJs can make a splash, especially if the songs they play bring people to their feet. Haidak recommends, though, that as far as the playlist is concerned, to focus more on the popular hits than the usual EDM.

Corporate events: Corporate events are another route that may prove to be an effective launchpad for aspiring DJs. Usually, these occasions provide a relaxing ambiance for DJs to play their music. But if they play songs that many attendees know and love, there’s a big chance someone will come up to them and ask if they have calling cards and if they’re willing to spin for future events.

James Haidak is no stranger when it comes to performing live. He has played at festivals alongside names such as John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Stephan Bodzin, Reinier Zonneveld, Oliver Weiter, Henry Saiz, Kobosil, and many others. He is also very much into saving the environment. For more information on Haidak, visit this page.
