This project examines ethnobiology through two interconnected perspectives, which are the representation and significance of plants in Malay literary traditions and biodiversity-based livelihood initiatives among Orang Asli communities in Malaysia. Ethnobiology offers a framework for understanding the intricate relationship between cultural knowledge, ecological resources, and traditional practices.
